Based in Los Angeles, Dil Studio creates interior designs, furnishings and develops color stories.
We work with residential and commercial clients offering consulting services for new constructions, restorations + remodeling, virtual worlds, photo + film sets, and also offer workshops to address very specific challenges and goals efficiently.
Our interior designs and custom color concepts have been featured as a location in 100+ advertising campaigns and in magazine editorials.
Collaborations are an essential part of our process, and we benefit from an international network of creatives and makers. Since 2012 founder Esma Annemon Dil is also part of 5by5 Architecture + Design, a collective of architects and designers in Munich, Zurich, London, Dubai, and L.A.
Esma Annemon Dil is an interior designer, magazine editor, and author, with prior experience in management consulting. She approaches new projects with journalistic curiosity and experience of how to maximize real estate investments with the help of creating character-filled designs. Her visual language is influenced by a deep interest in art, architecture, and beautiful things and by having lived in some of the most culturally stimulating cities. Her role as a frequent contributor to the European editions of Vogue, Architectural Digest, Vanity Fair, and GQ allows access to extraordinary architecture and experiences.
Her interviews have been published in int. Condé Nast Magazines and all the main German newspapers. Among them are conversations with technology leaders in Silicon Valley or the IBM Quantum Computing Center. Dil also created and produced German Vogue's bi-annual 40+ page Style Book and was responsible for curating style sections, new concepts, writing essays, and profiles as Features Editor in the early 2000s.
