ABOUT

West Coast Features + Contributing Editor of Condé Nast Int. based in Los Angeles.

I focus on long form articles on culture, tech, social issues, art and design and venture into visual storytelling projects, touching conceptual art, architecture, tech and design. I write in German and English.

My work gets published in Germany and international Condé Nast editions (British, French, Spanish, Chinese, Australian, Greek, Japanese, Korean or Russian GQ, VOGUE, Wired, AD). I also write for newspapers (Süddeutsche Zeitung, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Die Welt, Die Zeit) and have been invited as a contributor and author by most German TV networks.

Over the last years I've interviewed and learned from incredible people such as Susan Wojcicki, Iggy Pop, Anthony Bourdain, Doug Aitken, Jared Leto, Zaha Hadid, Jim Harrison, Alexander Skarsgard, Orlando Bloom, Alden Ehrenreich, Tobey Maguire, George Clooney, Pharrell Williams, Ronnie Wood, Barbara Sukowa, Siri Hustvedt, John Baldessari, Sarah Sze, William Forsythe, Karl Lagerfeld, Jennifer Lopez, Joel Schumacher, Baz Luhrmann, Ron Howard, Ashton Kutcher, Tom Ford, Demi Moore, Nicole Kidman, Tomas Maier, Riccardo Tisci, Marc Jacobs, Peter Eisenman, René Zellweger, Hong Ying, Venus Williams and Donna Langley.

Between 2007 and 2014 I co-created and produced German VOGUE's bi-annual 40+ page Style edition, co-authored the short story collection Foreign Affairs and developed TV-concepts for EOS / Beta film. From 2002-2007 I was Features Editor with VOGUE Germany in Munich; 2001 I worked with Stern Magazine in Hamburg, after a career change from strategy consulting to journalism in my mid-20s.
